I study
dynamic social minds: the interplay between (micro) individual decision processes and
(macro) social structures in the field of social cognition
[CV]. My recent
research explores various aspects of human stereotyping; its historical antecedents, cognitive
mechanisms, and societal consequences. Despite being a century-old puzzle,
advances in data-driven observational
analysis, computational cognitive modeling, large-scale behavioral experiments, and comparative analyses
with large language models are now offering exciting new insights.
